Olivia Forrest has been working tirelessly to expand her running potential. She has always fancied herself a sprinter and rarely ventures far from the 200m, but she decided to take the plunge and give the 800m a try. However, her first race of the day was the 200m. In a crowded field of runners, Olivia managed a 27th place finish in 34.64. In the 800m Olivia found herself running with a group of girls, and thru the first lap she even led her pack. She began to tire in the last 100m, but it was a great first attempt at the distance. She finished 24th place in 3:10.94. Boardwalk RC looks forward to continued success and an even bigger contingent of runners next year.
